FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special electrical process plants with semiconductor converters, which increase efficiency of corresponding electric technologies and energy saving. Wherein technical result is achieved due to increased functionality of the converter and achievement of high energy parameters. Proposed converter provides direct conversion of electric power of supply circuit into energy of charged accumulator battery and, if necessary, it allows to return power of charged accumulator back to the supply circuit. It occurs, for example, when testing the accumulator battery or when setting the control-training cycle. Another application of converter is also possible, for example to use it together with accumulator batteries as reserve power supply source of direct and alternating current, as static frequency converter, etc.
