FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry. A control device of a total axial load of a steam turbine including a stepped rotary shaft. The first leakage channel connects the first stage of the turbine section in a flow-through manner to a sealing device before a stepped section on the rotary shaft. The second leakage channel connects the second stage of the turbine section in a flow-through manner, which comes after the first stage, to the zone of projection before the above stepped section; with that, a connecting channel connects in a flow-through manner the first leakage channel to the second leakage channel. The above channels include control valves so that a controller can perform active control of the total axial load by controlling axial pressure in the specified stepped section using steam from the first and the second stages of the turbine section.
EFFECT: invention allows maintaining the level of axial loads in an allowable range of values, as well as prevents damage to an active retractable seal.
