FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation, particularly to aircraft crews rescue methods. Method of crew rescue in case of helicopter in-flight accident at different heights includes lifting helicopter nose relative to horizon level, jet engine switching on, cockpit with crew jettisoning from fuselage and cockpit departure from fuselage by means of jet engine along fuselage lengthwise axis from dangerous zone to safe height relative to crew cockpit landing pad. Then performing parachute opening, descent and crew cockpit landing.
EFFECT: possibility of crew rescue irrespective of crew members number and flight altitude.
