FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: method of rescuing crew and passengers during a helicopter crash in flight at various altitudes includes tearing the nose of helicopter relatively to the horizon level, shooting a two-stage rocket, the first stage of which represents the passenger cargo cabin of helicopter, and the second stage is the cockpit, from the fuselage of helicopter. Further, the rocket engine of rocket's first stage is turned on and the rocket is taken away from the fuselage by means of a first-stage rocket engine at a safe altitude relative to the ground. Then, the first stage of rocket is shot and the first stage of rocket parachute is deployed, the first stage of rocket is launched on a parachute, the reactive braking system is switched on, the parachute is disconnected. Then, the second-stage rocket engine is switched on and the second stage of rocket is taken from the first one to the safe altitude, the second stage of rocket parachute is deployed, the second stage of rocket lands, and the parachute is disconnected from the second stage.
EFFECT: possibility of rescuing the crew and passengers of a helicopter in an accident at any altitude.
