FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of car body parts with trimmed flanges by contact welding with a claw welder. First part of the manufactured part to make its outer side is forced fixed on a support, as well as its second part along the edge of the trimmed flanges. Connecting electrode is pressed to the trimmed flanges on the side of the second part of the manufactured part. On the surface of the second part a grounding counter electrode is set at a specified distance from the trimmed flanges. On the side of the flange opposite to the connecting electrode the claw thrust is installed to compensate the connecting electrode force. Thrust is introduced into a seat made in the support, herewith the support together with the manufactured part is pressed to the connecting electrode.
EFFECT: invention provides absence of undesirable deformations of the external part of the manufactured part.
