SUBSTANCE: invention relates to positive-displacement hydraulic engines designed for conversion of working fluid flow energy into mechanical energy of the output link moving reciprocally. In hydraulic cylinder, which includes housing with lug, consisting of front with replaceable guiding bushing and rear covers equipped with seals and their fasteners on housing, and rod with piston with seals and lug, inner surface of housing lugs and rod made in circumferential direction, has blunt angle α with top lying on hydraulic cylinder longitudinal axis, directed towards its center of gravity, and equal α=180°-2(arctg kAH), where kAH is support elements in lug maximum adhesion factor.
EFFECT: higher reliability of hydraulic cylinder.
