Group of inventions is presented by a method, system and machine-readable carrier. Providing an algorithm to assess using a statistic data processing device R_hypo(record) the risk of hypoglycemia based on the absolute BG levels, BG variability, and insulin delivery. Said statistics correlates to a posterior (conditional) probability of hypoglycaemia P (E_hypo|record). E_hypo means the event of hypoglycaemia on the next day, and record relates to recording time values of blood glucose levels BG, insulin delivery and activities of the patient. Calculation using statistic data processing device R_hypo(record) is performed. Calculated statistics R_hypo(record) is output using an output device to ensure notification about hypoglycaemia in a patient.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to assess the risk of hypoglycemia in a patient due to a complex consideration of the most optimum data and indicators.
