SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry. Method of thermal oil production from an oil-bearing bed, located above or below a coal bed, comprises a drilling of injection, oil producing, air injection, gas drawoff wells, creation of a combustion source in a coal bed. Note here that air injection horizontal cased wells are drilled in a coal bed in direction to an injection well. Gas drawoff vertical and horizontal wells, cased by perforated pipes, are drilled between them in a coal bed in direction to an injection well. Oil producing vertical and horizontal wells cased or uncased by perforated pipes are drilled in gaps between air injection and gas drawoff wells, in an oil-bearing bed in direction to an injection well. Between the faces of between air injection and gas drawoff wells, hydrofracturing of a coal bed and flame front channeling during air injection are performed. Coal burn front and in-phase circular steam-water front are created around an injection well, in 24 hours water is being injected into an injection well, then oil producing wells are being started and is being uptaken.

EFFECT: technical result is increasing an oil recovery factor to 90 % at any deposits with coal beds, including at completely flooded and worked-out deposits.
