FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to carbon sorbents. Application of activated carbon impregnated with zinc oxide is proposed to increase selectivity of hydrogen cyanide (HCN). Used activated carbon is impregnated with zinc oxide by puting into aqueous solution of a metal salt, spraying with in or soaking in it. Impregnated carbon is thermally treated to decomposite metal salts to zinc oxide.
EFFECT: invention increases selectivity of absorption of hydrogen cyanide.
