FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determining softening degree of parts from aluminium alloys. This invention consists in the fact that the method of determining softening degree of parts from aluminium alloys, accompanied by decay of solid solution in aluminium alloys, includes determination of specific electrical conductivity of the controlled material in the softening section, witness samples (steel ingot sections) are additionally subjected to thermal treatment processes, simulating the conditions causing softening of parts with subsequent determining specific electrical conductivity value on steel ingot sections; method also comprises: turning samples of steel ingot sections, which are used for determining mechanical characteristics based on stretching tests results; plotting dependence graphs of samples mechanical properties of specific electrical conductivity; determining approximation equations, which are used for calculating boundary values of specific electrical conductivity, corresponding to allowable lower value of mechanical properties for each specific melting and type of semi-finished product; comparing the value of specific electrical conductivity on parts from aluminium alloy in the section of softening with the obtained calculated values after simulation thermal treatment.
EFFECT: technological result is the possibility of determining attenuation of mechanical properties in a dark spot of the aluminium alloy.
