SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and can be used for distribution of material in distillation columns. Contacting column section comprises a device comprising: a feed line inlet for introducing a feed, which is liquid, into feed distribution device, a chamber between feed line inlet and column, a means for causing flow to be in choked condition and vaporise before entering interior portion of section of column. Choking means is a partition, having one or more openings, in chamber at a point between fed line inlet and interior portion of section of column.
EFFECT: invention simplifies introduction and distribution of flash feed stream into a column with a gas-liquid contact device.
