FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to α-form zinc-phthalocyanine nanowires (ZnPc NWs) with increased water solubility and water dispersibility, to a composite of α-form zinc-phthalocyanine nanowire/phenothiazine, a method for preparing the same and a photosensitizer comprising the same and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same for preventing or treating cancers. Obtained using the disclosed method α-form zinc-phthalocyanine nanowires have increased solubility and dispersibility in water in a concentration of 100 to 140 mg/L.
EFFECT: since disclosed nanowires or the composite exhibit photothermal and photodynamic traits in single molecule, they are very useful for the development of a multifunctional molecular system and can also be usefully applied to light therapy of cancers due to their good light therapeutic effects; also, the composite of alpha-form zinc-phthalocyanine nanowire/phenothiazine itself can exhibit fluorescence to facilitate the introduction of an imaging system, so that diagnosis and treatment can be simultaneously performed using a single substance.
