FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used for grinding surgical needles made of refractory metal alloys. System comprises grinding wheel with grinding surface, layer of binding material made of nickel, deposited on grinding surface, and a plurality of abrasive particles embedded in layer of binding material. Abrasive particles have same size, and thickness of layer of binding material is about 65% of size of abrasive particles. Latter are particles of cubic boron nitride ABN600, having average size ranging from 20 to 40 mcm. Invention also provides a lubricating device for application of lubricant onto grinding surface and rotating element for rotation thereof.
EFFECT: longer service life of grinding wheel and higher efficiency of grinding surgical needles.
