FIELD: cutting.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to preparation of cutting edges of cutting tools, in particular drills, cutters or similar tools. Device provides for the possibility of interaction of the cutting tool during relative movement with the abrasive element on the elastic binder containing abrasive particles with cutting. Particles of the abrasive element act on the geometry of the edge of the cutting tool, wherein the dimensions of the abrasive element are adapted to the dimensions of the corresponding prepared cutting tool. Abrasive element is placed in a replaceable holder located in the area of the processing device, in particular a sharpening machine, and fixed with possibility of cutting by means of cutting tool for preparation of cutting edge.
EFFECT: possibility of preparing cutting edges of rotationally symmetric cutting tools, in particular with a fastening shank, with respect to their microstructure.
