FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device relates to measurement equipment and can be used in power engineering, metallurgy, chemical industry for determining of hydrogen concentration in gaseous media in wide range of temperatures and pressures. Hydrogen sensor in gaseous media comprises working element, tightly adjacent to sensor housing upper part through the seal. Additional air-tightness is provided with nut. Sensor housing lower part is outlined by insulation, providing close contact with heater, providing working medium temperature conditions supplied to steam-water chamber watertight membrane. Through measuring platinum electrode, tightly adjacent to ceramic sensor lower part, tightly connected with glass ceramic to sensitive element metal housing, disturbance, introduced by measuring flow is transmitted to potential measuring device central core. Reference electrode is located in ceramic sensor inner cavity. Ceramic sensor bottom external part is coated with layer of porous platinum electrode. End of potential measuring device central core extends into reference electrode volume.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of hydrogen sensor readings due to enabling ceramic sensor inner cavity tightness and maintaining stable operating temperature on working element sensitive part due to presence of constant reliable heating by means of heater and heat insulation.
