FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in power engineering, nuclear equipment, chemical technology, metallurgy, gas analysis for measurement of hydrogen content in melts of alkaline metals and their vapours, inertial gases and water vapour. Device contains electrochemical cell (ECC) (1) with hard electrolyte (2) and measuring electrode (3). ECC (1) is installed in sealed chamber and equipped with heater (4) and heat sink (5). Sealed chamber contains working cavity (6), which is installed in hot zone, and auxiliary cavity (7), which is installed in cold zone. Working and auxiliary cavities are connected between each other with pipeline (8). In hot zone with maximum temperature hydrogen-permeable membrane is installed in the form of tube plugged from one end (9), which is equipped with displacer (10), heater (11) and channel (12), which connects it with sensitive surface of measuring electrode (3). Suggested sensor possesses low inertance. According to invention sensor is created, which has high reliability, low inertance and is able to operate in wide range of temperatures.
EFFECT: provision of reliability, low inertance and possibility of sensor operation in wide range of temperatures.
