FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for investigating or gas analysis and can be used in power engineering, metallurgy, oil and gas industries, automotive industry and other industries to determine content of oxygen and chemical underburning in gas media. Disclosed is a sensitive element of a gas analyser for oxygen and chemical underburning including reference electrode and two measuring electrodes made from porous material, having catalytic activity. Proposed sensitive element consists of two solid-electrolyte electrochemical cells, tightly secured in common heat-insulation jacket by means of a metal washer. Each electrochemical cell comprises solid electrolyte of zirconium dioxide, tightly connected with electric insulator of ceramics based on aluminium-magnesium spinel and made in form of truncated cone, tightly installed in conical holes of metal tubes of ferrite-martensitic steel. Each electrochemical cell is equipped with a thermocouple, combined with a potential measuring device arranged coaxially inside each electrochemical cell. Both cells contain reference and measuring electrodes applied on outer and inner surface of each electrochemical cell. Thermocouples with potential measuring devices have electric contact with corresponding reference electrodes, wherein heat-insulation jacket contains a first electric heater.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and representativeness of measurements, higher efficiency, longer calibration interval and service life.
