SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an insert for a dashboard of a motor vehicle for introducing a docking device for portable electronic devices. Insert forms a device holder in form of a cover, which rotates between a non-operating position, which at least partially covers insert, and a working position, in which cover is turned outward from insert, and back side of cover forms acting device holder, wherein insert also comprises a depressed storage space with a separate cover, at least partially surrounding region of docking device.
EFFECT: easy use.
