FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building, in particular, to ground working machines with a control system of lifting the ground engaging wheel and a method of its operation. Ground working machine having a frame, a ground engaging wheel mounted to the frame and movable between a raised position not engaging the ground and a working position with ground engaging cleaner wheels to remove crop residue from crop rows. Control system includes a sensor to detect rotation of the ground engaging wheel and a controller that receives an input from the sensor. Controller generates a command to the actuator to lift the cleaner wheels, when the sensor determines that it does not rotate, and their lowering after passing the obstacle.
EFFECT: such solution is aimed at reduction of labour costs at higher efficiency of sowing.
