FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: soil tillage unit for soil treatment comprises a frame supported above the ground by means of one or more wheels; a plurality of earth-interacting tools supported by the frame and configured to interact with the earth to cultivate the earth; at least one time-of-flight sensor configured to obtain information indicative of soil conditions on earth; controller configured to process information received by at least one time-of-flight sensor to generate soil state parameters. Controller is additionally configured to automatically control the operation of one or more components of the tillage unit based on soil condition parameters. Controller is configured to prioritize soil condition parameters and automatic control of operation of one or more components of the tillage unit based on the priority of soil condition parameters. Parameters of soil state are selected from the following: homogeneity of field wastes on the ground, homogeneity of soil lumps on the ground, and horizontal soil. System of soil cultivation with soil cultivating unit made with possibility of soil cultivation and including central section. Control system comprises a front sensor located in front of the centre section, configured to obtain height information indicating the height of the front part of the centre section above the ground; rear sensor located behind the centre section, configured to obtain height information indicating the height of the rear part of the centre section above the ground; an alignment unit configured to adjust the longitudinal orientation of the central section; and a controller configured to receive height information from the front sensor and height information from the rear sensor, as well as supplying instructions to the alignment unit for adjusting the longitudinal orientation of the central section based on the obtained information on the height. Tiller additionally includes a left side section and a right side section, as well as actuators connecting the central section to each of the side sections for folding the side sections up and or down. Each side section includes a sensor configured to obtain information on height, indicating the height of the side section above the ground. Control system is configured to compare the height of the side sections with the height of the central section. Control system is configured to provide instructions to actuators for levelling the level of side sections with the level of side sections relative to the central section. Method of soil treatment with a soil cultivating unit made with possibility of soil treatment, and including a central section, and additionally including a left side section, a right side section and actuators passing from the central section to each side section. Each side section includes a sensor configured to obtain height information indicating the height of the side section above the ground. Method of soil treatment with a tillage unit includes the following stages: (a) obtaining, by means of a front sensor located on the front part of the central section, height information indicating the height of the front part of the central section above the ground; (b) obtaining, by means of a rear sensor located on the rear part of the central section, height information indicating the height of the rear part of the central section above the ground; (c) comparing, by a controller, the height of the front of the central section with the height of the rear of the central section; (d) providing instructions for an alignment unit associated with the centre section to adjust the longitudinal orientation of the centre section based on the comparison made in step (c); (e) folding at least one of the side sections upwards and/or downwards by means of a corresponding actuator; (f) comparing, by means of a controller, the height of the side sections with the height of the central section; and (g) providing instructions by the actuator control system to align the levels of the side sections to the level of the side sections relative to the central section.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining the state of soil and field wastes in different areas of the field.
