FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pointing input device. Result is achieved due to providing a magnetic field shielding layer, which does not affect operation of the geomagnetic sensor in the touchscreen type pointing input device using an electromagnetic pen. Magnetic field shielding layer is made from a magnetic metal powder. Magnetic field shielding layer is formed directly on the pointing input device without the need of a separate adhesive layer.
EFFECT: technical result is elimination of errors caused by disturbance of magnetic field.
