FIELD: materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multilayer coatings, used in radio electronic and instrument-making technology, in particular, when creating screens for protection against the effects of external magnetic and electromagnetic fields of natural and artificial origin of various biological and technical facilities. In this case, the permeability of magnetic layers increases from layer to layer when moving away from the shielded source of magnetic and electromagnetic radiation. And the induction of saturation increases from the outer layers - to the inner layers.
EFFECT: technical result consists in creating a gradient of the magnetic characteristics (magnetic permeability and induction of saturation) along the section of the multilayer screen and the attenuation due to this magnetic and electromagnetic field of the industrial frequency in a wide range of the shielded field strength with a shielding factor of at least 120 and is achieved due to the multilayer design of the shielding material, including alternating magnetic and non-magnetic non-conductive layers.
