FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to devices for drug introduction, and can be used in medicine, veterinary science, biology and other industries. Device for pneumatic pulse application of powder and liquid drugs consists of stationary and remote units, interconnected with pneumatic and electric connections, wherein stationary unit includes electrical compressor with possibility of power supply from built-in battery, 12 V DC voltage source or 220 V AC voltage source, automatic of compressor switching on and off and rectifier-converter of 110-240 V AC voltage to 12 V DC voltage with the possibility of built-in battery recharging; and remote unit comprises sealed container-mixer, attached to it, and connected to catheter for releasing medicinal dosage in form of aerosol, two electromagnetic air valves, connected in series with metal or plastic tube, connected to container-mixer, and having possibility of simultaneous or serial connection for continuous or pulsed modes of application, respectively, and pneumatic throttle, connected with possibility of supplying part of compressed air into container-mixer, bypassing electromagnetic pneumatic valves. Pulse application of powder and liquid drugs with help of device is carried out from sealed container through catheter of small diameter. Serial application mode of switching electromagnetic valves is used for manipulations in closed small cavities, while simultaneous mode is used for operation on open body surfaces or in cavities of large volume. Container-mixer with small diameter of outlet hole can be used for fine powders, and for more coarse fractions of powder container-mixer with large outlet is used.
EFFECT: using of invention is possible for local pneumatic application of powder and liquid medicinal substances on pathological focus and changes in mucosa to achieve medical effect during and after endoscopic and open surgical interventions, caused by local application of various powder and liquid drugs with manifestation of their pharmacological effect.
