FIELD: antenna.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compact patch antennas, in particular for installation in a vehicle. For this patch antenna comprises a powered electricity stripline radiating element (1) and ground plane (3). Stripline radiating element is connected to ground plane at a first end (11) by means of a metal link and the second end (12) opposite the first end, by a variable capacitor (5). Patch antenna also comprises a printed circuit board (2), the lower surface of which is integral with the ground plane (3), a layer (6) of dielectric material disposed between the stripe-emitting element (1) and the PCB (2); stripline radiating element (1) is substantially parallel to the ground plane (3). Layer of dielectric material has a relative dielectric constant in the range of from 3 to 6, and the loss factor in the range of 0.03 to 0.1.
EFFECT: technical result - smaller patch antenna and high selectivity of the bandwidth at the resonant frequency.
