FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inorganic chemistry, specifically to devices for producing hydrogen and aluminium hydroxides. Plant comprises a tank, made with two nozzles for inlet of cold water and outlet of heated water. Tank is connected with a glass pipeline. Reaction flasks are located inside tank with water, and each comprises a grid with a cell having cell size of 1 mm and a throttle valve arranged in neck part. Each flask is made with a side branch for discharge of hydrogen, lower and upper outputs. Lower output is made in bottom of reaction flask and is connected with glass pipeline, through which obtained as a result of exothermal reaction suspension of Na[Al(OH)4] by means of pump is directed to a Bunsen flask. Buchner funnel with a paper filter is worn on Bunsen flask. Bunsen flask has two branches, one of which is connected to vacuum pump, and second branch is connected with by glass pipe to top output made in neck of reaction flask.
EFFECT: simplified design due to absence of sensors, controllers and using a simpler method of cooling, as a result of which cooling efficiency of solution in reaction flasks is improved.
