SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and forestry, in particular, to methods of producing different types of anti-radiation forest ranges on arid pastures for animals rest. Method involves selection of sections, treatment of soil and planting of woody plants. Planting of forest ranges, which provide shadow coating of section soil is carried out in natural or artificial micro-depressions of the relief of arid pastures in the form of biological groups of three plants, planting material height 2.5…3.5 m with good growing crown in holes-bore depth 50…70 cm, diameter of 30…40 cm and distance between axes of holes-bore pits in bio group 50 cm.
EFFECT: proposed method will allow to improve conditions of growth and stability of forest ranges in conditions of arid pastures and to increase their protective role for animals from excessive solar radiation.
