FIELD: mining industry, applicable in open mining operations at mining of ore blocks, whose sections essentially differ in the ore quality. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in drilling of holes in compliance with the design of the mass explosion, making of the mine survey, testing of deep-holes by the geology- geophysical methods, investigation of natural block structure of the rock mass, mapping of the qualitative ore, charging and blasting of deep-hole charges according to the rated parameters of drilling and blasting operations and wiring diagram of the deep-hole charges, excavation of the blasted rock mass according to the worked out planogram of mining of the mineral resource, the strike of the edge of the block bench is positioned at an angle of 90 deg. to the bisector of the angle between the two determined main systems of cracks, an additional compensation hole that is not charged with explosive is drilled at a distance of 4 to 6 diameters of the hole from the hole to be blasted first of all, as a result, a cut compensation cavity is formed. Then, successively with a retardation for the formed compensation cavity holes drilled in the qualitative ore are blasted. After that the rest mass piled up by the run-of-the-pit ore is blasted with a short retardation between the groups of the switched deep-hole charges. Thus, a local section of lump qualitative ore not dispaced by the blast on the bench and in the height of disintegration of broken rock comparable with the height of the mining bench is formed, and the mining of this ore is carried out selectively in the second turn after mining of the run-of-the-pit ore. EFFECT: provided crushing of qualitative ore in a grip, breaking of the run-of-the-pit ore to a free surface in the direction of the exhausted space, from the local section of qualitative ore. 3 dwg
