FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemical industry, in particular, to oil-derived products useful in road construction. Product is intended for polymer-bitumen binder (PBB) used for road construction, for mastic and waterproofing materials. Modifier of road bitumen, used in making polymer-bitumen binder, comprises, at least one high-viscosity colophony derivative in form of an ester of abietinic acid, dispersed montmorillonite-based organomodified clay, modified with quaternary ammonium salts, MOHAMET and compatibilising agent ethylene vinyl acetate EVA, obtained by copolymerisation of ethylene and vinyl acetate monomer with content of vinyl-acetate groups of not less than 28 %. MOHAMET nanoclay is produced by organomodification of Na+- montmorillonite using a surfactant of quaternary alkyl ammonium chloride. High-viscosity colophony derivative in form of an ester abietinic acid contains glycerine rosin ester and/or pentaerythritol rosin ester.
EFFECT: invention also relates to polymer-bitumen binder based on said modifier and road bitumen.
