SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for executing extended JavaScript (JS) by using an extended JS interface. Said result is achieved by inquiring an extension program whether to execute extended JavaScript at a predetermined time when a web page is loaded. Browser assembles extended JS interface according to an open application program interface (API) when determining that extended JavaScript is needed to be executed. That is followed by executing extended JavaScript by using extended JS interface. Extended JavaScript is used for following steps: extraction of content required for search and browsing, by means of accessing a tree (DOM) of current web page; according to extracted content determination of location mode of browser elements by means of current interface, set according to requirements for correction mode of location of elements; assembling page according to extracted content. Execution of JavaScript is recorded in WebApp framework when installing WebApp packet in browser.
EFFECT: technical result is providing search and browsing of web pages using WebApp framework.
