SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a message push method through a light application. Method comprises steps of: acquiring a terminal application list with added light applications; sending, by a browser, application list to a push server, so that push server acquires a data packet, wherein data packet comprises a message to be pushed and push object information; receiving, by browser, data packet to be pushed corresponding to at least one light application; redirection, by means of terminal, received data packet to a light application centre; determining, by means of light application centre, light application and message to be pushed; activation at terminal push application in order to present message.
EFFECT: technical result is broader function of pushing messages, so that light applications can be used in a large number of scenarios for improving user interaction.
