FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to rocket engineering, and can be used during solid-propellant rocket engines housings practice. Device for rocket engine detaching collar strength testing includes fixed ring, movable ring, wedges, clamps and dynamometer. Fixed ring is fixed outside on engine housing flange, and movable ring is installed on housing inner side with possibility of coaxial axial displacement relative to fixed ring by guides attached to it. Wedges are mounted on movable ring periphery, uniformly along circumference, and have inner and outer shaped surfaces. Wedges are located in gap between detaching collar inner surface and housing heat-insulating coating. Clamps are made with shaped surface mating with detaching collar outer surface. Dynamometer is connected to fixed ring and rests against movable ring.
EFFECT: higher of rocket engine housing production quality control due to control over detaching collar by applying force, simulating force acting on collar during charge shrinking during fuel curing.
