METHOD OF PRODUCING ELASTIC COLLAR OF ROCKET ENGINE BODY ON SOLID FUEL Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F02K9/34 

FIELD: rocket equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to rocket engineering, namely to manufacturing technology of elastic collar of rocket engine body and can be used in design and fabrication of equipped bodies of rocket engines on solid fuel. In production of elastic collar of rocket engine body on solid fuel, elastic collar is fixed by one end with peripheral part of heat-insulating coating of housing, unfolded end of which is equipped with a tip, bent inside the body, located in the area of the central opening of the body. Unfolded end of the elastic collar is made with allowance. Elastic collar tip is made in the vulcanization device and an unfolded end of the elastic collar is cut into the body to the required diameter in the undercutting appliance to be installed on the body flange. Surfaces of the unfolded end of the elastic collar and the tip for gluing are prepared. Adhesive compound is applied on the surface of the elastic collar and the tip and the unfolded end of the elastic collar is glued and the lapping end is glued by pressing the glued surfaces in the gluing device, which is installed on the body flange instead of the trimming device. Then adhesive composition is hardened and the gluing device is dismantled.

EFFECT: invention allows improving quality of elastic collar manufacture with tip arranged in the area of central opening of rocket engine body.
