SUBSTANCE: invention relates to perforated thin-sheet materials, as well as to devices and methods of perforating and stretching of webs, which can be used to produce such materials. In one embodiment of invention, method includes a step of feeding a web into a gap formed between at least one pair of rollers engaging with each other. First roller is a perforating roller with disc blades with raised ridges, and second roller is a pay-out roller; both rollers comprise ridges and grooves. First roller comprises multiple spaced apart teeth extending from outside from upper surface of said first ridges, wherein said teeth have vertices, wherein upper surface of said ridges is located between vertices of said teeth and lower surface of said grooves.

EFFECT: proposed device and methods enable to form a web with high open area than possible when using conventional methods and devices.
