FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering, specifically to a lighting-emitting diode device with a heat dissipator. LED device (10) includes base element (12) for electrical contacting and mechanical mounting and LED arrangement (20) with at least one LED element (70). LED arrangement (20) is spaced from base element (12) along a longitudinal axis L. In order to achieve technical result, lower heat dissipating structure (24) is arranged between base element (12) and LED arrangement (20). Lower heat dissipating structure (24) comprises a plurality of planar heat dissipation elements (26) made out of a heat conducting material, shaped to have at a first longitudinal position along longitudinal axis L a first extension in cross-section, and at a second longitudinal position a second extension in cross-section. First longitudinal position is arranged closer to LED arrangement than second longitudinal position, and first extension is smaller than second extension in order to minimise obstruction of light emitted from LED arrangement (20).
EFFECT: providing effective heat dissipation and preferable distribution of light intensity.
