FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to andrology and endocrinology, and can be used for prediction of clinical effectiveness of primary sterility treatment with chorionic gonadotrophin in males with hypogonadism. For this three-day test with human chorionic gonadotropin is performed. Level of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is additionally measured on the fourth day. If FSH level is above 1.775 mIU/ml after therapeutic course with human gonadotrophin improvement of quantitative and qualitative properties of semen analysis is predicted. At reduction of FSH level below 1.775 mIU/ml, ineffectiveness of treatment is prognosed.
EFFECT: invention enables predicting clinical effectiveness of primary sterility treatment in males with hypogonadism by intramuscular injections of human chorionic gonadotropin, depending on follicle-stimulating hormone level.
