FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to urology, clinical andrology, and can be used to predict the effectiveness of low-intensity laser therapy (LILT) in secretory teratozoospermia. Before the start of therapy, the level of follicle-stimulating hormone in the blood plasma, the number of leukocytes in the ejaculate, progressive motility and sperm concentration are determined. The value of the discriminant function is determined by the formula: F=0.112×fsh+0.051×spLey+0.056×spMotProgr+0.009×spConc where F is the value of the discriminant function; fsh is the level of follicle-stimulating hormone in blood plasma (IU/l); spLey - the number of leukocytes in the ejaculate (mln/ml); spMotProgr - progressive sperm motility (%); spConc - sperm concentration (mln/ml). At F> 0.053, low-intensity laser therapy will be effective in restoring the number of normal sperm forms. At F≤00.053 it is ineffective.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the course of LILT in the IR spectrum in the treatment of men with secretory teratozoospermia by predicting the results of treatment individually for each patient based on routine diagnostic methods - hormonal status and ejaculate parameters, is simple to execute, and reduces the number of unnecessary procedures.
