FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, particularly to a sugarcane plant, having resistance to sugarcane borer, containing DNA which codes Cry1Fa, and DNA which codes Cry1Ab. Also disclosed is a set of sugarcane plants, containing non-Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)-sugarcane plant, which do not express transgenic insecticidal proteins, and said transgenic sugarcane plants.
EFFECT: invention provides effective control of sugarcane borer.
