FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, particularly to a transgenic plant, which has resistance to fall armyworm (FAW; Spodoptera frugiperda), containing DNA coding Cry1Ca protein, and DNA which codes Cry1Fa protein, seeds thereof, as well as to a method of preventing generation in fall armyworm insects resistance to Cry1Ca and Cry1Fa proteins using same. Also disclosed is a set of plants in field, containing a plurality of said transgenic plants and not - Bacillus thuringiensis plant (non-Bt plants), and mixture of seeds, containing non-Bt seeds of non-Bt plants and a plurality of said seeds. Invention also relates to a composition containing cells expressing Cry1Fa protein and Cry1Ca protein, as well as to a method of controlling fall armyworm using same.
EFFECT: invention provides effective control of fall armyworm.
