FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transgenic plant to slow or prevent the development of resistance to the proteins Cry1Ab and DIG-3 in the European corn borer (ECB), its seed, and a method for preventing development of resistance to protein Cry1Ab and DIG-3 in ECB with its use. The seeds mixture is also disclosed to slow or prevent the development of resistance to Cry1Ab proteins and DIG-y ERU 3, plant cell to slow or prevent the development of resistance to Cry1Ab proteins and DIG-3 in ECB. The invention also relates to a method of controlling ECB, comprising bringing of mentioned insect or to the environment of mentioned insect into contact with an effective amount of a composition which comprises a protein Cry1Ab protein and DIG-3 as well as a process for preparing a composition which comprises a protein Cry1Ab protein and DIG- 3.
EFFECT: invention can effectively fight the corn borer.
