FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high temperature-resistant foam plastics with low heat conductivity, to production thereof from organic polyisocyanates and polyepoxides. Foam plastic is obtained by reacting at least one organic polyisocyanate with at least one organic compound having at least two epoxide groups in such quantity, which corresponds to an equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups to epoxy groups, varying from 1.2:1 to 500:1, optionally in presence of excipients and additives. Reaction takes place in presence of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (HFC-245fa) as a single foaming agent and reaction-accelerating isocyanate/epoxy catalyst. Invention also describes methods of producing high temperature-resistant foam plastic.
EFFECT: technical result is foam plastics have low heat conductivity, are hard to inflammable, have low dielectric loss and at 180 °C have 75 % compression strength at room temperature.
