SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used for controlling bread bugs. Method comprises making catching bands in form of ridging stubble links from soil, stubble, fallen seeds and vegetable remains on the surface of the farm field. Link is made during main soil treatment. After settling bread bugs when low average daily air temperatures of 0±5 °C are set, the links are being opened by a mechanical method. First of all, the links are being opened on sections of the farm field, close to natural wintering places of bread bugs. For suppressing survived after wintering bread bugs in spring period cover harrowing and presowing cultivation are performed at an angle to the link line.

EFFECT: method provides suppressing and reducing the number of bread bugs.
