SUBSTANCE: invention relates to of automatic accounting, control and data processing devices, used in trade, and is aimed at expansion of such device functional capabilities. Bins accounting device for automatic collection, processing and transmission of information on bins with goods in points of sale, consisting of ruler with optical sensors periodically located on it, as well as ruler controller, located directly on ruler, where all rulers are connected by means of connection cables with central controller with GSM/GPRS module and other central controllers without GSM/GPRS module, where each ruler is installed under bin during storage of goods ordered so, that optical sensors were located under last article, where optical sensors operate in “reflection” mode, that is emitting in infrared range and receiving signal reflected from product surface, which enables to determine presence or absence of article in bin, as well as short time events of placing and removal of article bin storage so, that when article is not in bin, signal emitted by optical sensor light source is not reflected from product and photodetector is only subjected to ambient energy, and when product is in bin, emitted signal is reflected from product and photodetector is subjected to reflected signal energy.

EFFECT: automatic accounting, control and data processing.
