FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pastes for metals and alloys surface finishing polishing. Described is polishing paste, containing abrasive material, stearin, paraffin and surface-active component, whereby abrasive material is powder of synthetic mineral alloy based on silicon oxide and aluminium oxide in amount of 64.5-71.9 wt.%, and surface-active component is lye soap in amount of 2-3.5 wt.%.
EFFECT: technical effect is improved operational properties of polishing paste due to reduction of toxic substances content and low consumption of paste with finishing polishing of materials with preservation of high polishing capacity.
