FIELD: composition chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pastes used in treatment of metallic articles. Invention proposes paste comprising the following components, wt.-%: oleic acid, 1.5-3.0; triethanolamine, 1.5-4.0; stearic acid, 3.0-5.2; abrasive filler (alumina, synthetic corundum, silicon carbide or their mixture), 30.0-56.4; aerosil, 0.3-0.5; lanolin, 1.0-4.0, and water, the balance. Invention provides enhancing effectiveness in polishing metallic articles and quality of treatable surfaces.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of paste.
