FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ramjet engine, including detonation chamber, and to aircraft having said ramjet engine. Ramjet engine operating on explosive fuel-air mixture and contains at least one detonation chamber, which is equipped with air delivery base at its upper end and which ends with jet nozzle at its lower end, at least one air intake connected with said detonation chamber for provision of its supply with air, and fuel injection facilities into detonation chamber. Detonation chamber is annular and detonation wave persistent type. Fuel injection devices are designed for continuous fuel injection directly into downstream detonation chamber, directly behind air delivery base. Fuel injection and air supply into detonation chamber are carried out continuously, separately from each other during ramjet engine operation. Ramjet engine also includes plenum air flow local control devices, supplied into said detonation chamber. Fuel injection devices comprise at least four supply devices, uniformly distributed in detonation chamber circumferential direction, made with possibility to create corresponding fuel flows, being either identical or different, or variable in time independently from each other.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at ramjet engine execution with improved characteristics and efficiency.
