FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: engine with undamped detonation wave running on explosive fuel/oxidant mixture, contains at least one detonation chamber, injection system for continuous injection of explosive mixture into detonation chamber on its upper downstream end. Detonation chamber includes pressure base on upper end, as well as two walls, which pass on both sides of this initiation facility injection base. Initiation facilities are arranged in detonation chamber in order to initiate detonation wave in explosive mixture, which further spreads in explosive mixture and causes occurrence of serial, self-initiated detonation waves so, that to cause continuous generation of hot gases leaving detonation chamber through lower downstream open end. Detonation chamber includes pressure base, which length is determined by unclosed line so, that to generate detonation chamber having elongated shape in transverse plane, and that injection system is arranged so, that to inject fuel/oxidizer mixture into said chamber, at least on injection base section.

EFFECT: invention aims at extending of operation modes range, limitation of starting pressure.
