FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Disclosed is a method of purifying waste water from ammonium and organic substances in microaerobic conditions in reactor of serial-periodic action of complete mixing. For this purpose, biomass of active sludge containing dominant bacteria Candidatus "Jettenia moscovienalis" in amount of at least 80 % of total number of bacteria clones, wherein process is carried out at temperature 35±3 °C, concentration of dissolved oxygen 0.26-1.4 mg/l, pH 7.5-8.3, dose of sludge 2-6 g/l, age of sludge 4-6 days, nitrogen load - 620-1,000 g N/m3·day, hydraulic dwell time of 8.5-24 h.
EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency of cleaning waste water with high specific nitrogen load.
