FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocketry and can be used in designing solid-fuel microengines. Solid-fuel charge for microengines is a solid-propellant stick with the combustion rate within 0.10-0.20 m/sec at pressures 3.04-6.08 MPa on the basis of an initiating explosive or a quick-burning pyrotechnic mixture. Stick features a cylindrical shape with flat face ends perpendicular to the cylinder generatrix and has an armoured coating on the side surface of the cylinder and on one of its face ends, while on the open surface of the stick there is an electric igniter. Solid fuel stick on the basis of an initiating explosive is formed from a composition containing 75-95 % of lead or potassium styphnate, 0-10 % of ammonium perchlorate, 5-15 % of a polymer binder. Solid fuel stick based on a quick-burning pyrotechnic mixture is formed from a composition containing potassium perchlorate, potassium ferricyanide and a polymer binder.
EFFECT: invention allows to ensure minimum spread of pulse and time of operation of microengines with a solid-fuel charge.
