FIELD: devices or methods for influencing weather conditions.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for changing atmospheric conditions, namely to meteorological anti-hail rockets intended for active impact on hail clouds in order to prevent hailstorms and causing precipitation. Rocket for active action on clouds comprises head part with gas outlet holes and with end and channel active smoke grains, covered with fairing filled with bulk metal material and with collector arranged on the side of end grain with elements for initiation of tape charge of explosive of self-destruction mechanism. It also contains two-section solid-propellant jet engine, charge of which is initiated by electric igniter of nozzle unit carrying aerodynamic stabilizer. In the head part housing there is a gas-distributing spacer grid fixed with gas outlet bushings installed in gas outlet holes. Active smoke grains are pressed into the armoured paper tubes, wherein the ratio of the paper tube wall thickness to the head part body wall thickness is 1.0:2.4. Paper tube armouring the channel of the active smoke cartridge has thickness of 2.2-2.4 mm.
EFFECT: invention ensures an increase in the reliability of the rocket's head section and, at the same time, a simplification of the design while maintaining a uniform, stable flow of ice-forming reagent along the entire seeding route.
