FIELD: rocket technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in squibs in the design, experimental development, manufacture and operation of ejection devices for ejecting loads not exceeding 800 kg of their mass from their carriers. The gas generator includes channel pyrotechnic solid propellant charge sticks initiated by an electric igniter coaxial to the cylindrical body. A feature is that the solid propellant charge is formed from at least three types of channel pyrotechnic sticks in various sequences: A and B, or A and C, or A and B and C, installed adjacent to each other in an elongated cylindrical body with a guaranteed annular gap formed by placing them and fixing them in a clamped state between at least three equidistant longitudinal spacers fixed to the side surface of the solid propellant charge along its length using an adhesive composition or a spiral compensator encircling a solid propellant charge in tension, made of an elastic material, each of the used channel pyrotechnic sticks B is made of a pyrotechnic composition having a combustion process speed that is a multiple of the pyrotechnic combustion process speed of sticks A and/or C, in the form of a smooth cylinder with an axial channel, and the base of the sticks A has the form of axial ridges formed by pressing, facing the electric igniter when installed in the cylindrical body.
EFFECT: invention provides expansion of functionality, increase of speed and reliability.
